Abstract
For many years, undergraduate courses in stochastic and statistical mechanics have not been supported by computational simulations which help students to develop a better understanding about the Physics theories. In this work, a series of simulations in stochastic mechanics were carried out in the MATLAB environment intending to show the high value of computational science to explore main aspects of an undergraduate course in dynamical and randomical systems. The use of computational science in undergraduate courses should be promoted due the fact that in contemporary research in Physics, simulations and experimentation have been composing a new scientific methodology to connect new ideas, theories and data.
