The practical part deals with the accessory processes of the company Strussnig GmbH, which is a manufacturer of windows and doors made of plastic and aluminum. The focus is on the processes that are triggered by customer order. These are the processes procurement of accessory, production of standard equipment and the manufacturing of individual accessory. The aim is to ensure that the right information is at the right time at the right place. With the level model of Krcmar the processes are analyzed and improvements are developed. Information demand and supply, handling of data, the process itself and possible technologies that could be used are considered. The basis of the optimization of the individual accessory manufacturing process is a Failure Mode and Effect Analysis, because this process shows a different error characteristic.
