Abstract
This master's thesis deals with the topic of internal emissions transparency related to the object level or product level in order to find out the environmental impacts, in particular the carbon dioxide emissions of the individual products, in order to make them comparable. Starting with this work, there is an introduction to process management in order to be able to understand operational processes and logistical processes. The definitions in environmental management are then discussed based on the existing literature in order to illustrate the state of the art for creating a CO2 balance of a product based on national and international standards and norms. By analyzing the current state of research and conducting an experiment, this work is intended to help deepen the understanding of the PCF and develop concrete recommendations for action for companies. Ultimately, this master's thesis aims to contribute to promoting sustainable production and supporting companies in reducing their climate impact.
