Abstract

The gabbros of the Bracco-Gabbro Complex (Internal Liguride ophiolite), that intruded subcontinental mantle peridotite, contain layers of chromitite associated to ultramafic differentiates, i.e. melatroctolites. The chromitites and the disseminated chromites in the ultramafics have Al contents similar to Al-rich podiform chromitites [0.40
