Abstract

The aim of this paper is to build up a model for the numerical simulation of the newly developed Small Scale Rock Cutting Test with the finite-element software Abaqus. The numerical calculated rolling force should be compared to forces of the experiments. The use of the Concrete Damaged Plasticity model as constitutive law is designated.
