Abstract
A key objective of this work was the collection of drainage technical data of tunnels which are currently in operation. In a first step, a Microsoft® Excel table was developed. The purpose of this table was to display the substantial influencing parameters with respect to applicable reglementations which have influence on the sedimentation of tunnel drainage systems. The data sources were based on the structural planning and maintenance protocols. To increase the potential of this analysis, an input section for this system was thought to be made using a website which stores the input data on a MySQL data base. When defining the Excel table in which data is stored, the MySQL data base structures are taken into consideration to enable data-harmonization of both the Excel table and the data base. In addition, the Semmering tunnels of the Semmering highway S6 were surveyed and evaluated on the basis of the prepared table. The aim was to juxtapose the construction measures, the geological conditions and the maintenance work in a longitudinal section in order to identify possible connections. Finally, on the basis of the acquired knowledge, a concept of a long-term experiment was created for the research and training center "Zentrum am Berg".
