Abstract

The master's thesis considers the method of increasing the depth of apatite pro- cessing with the associated extraction of rare earth elements (REE) by liquid extrac- tion with di-2-ethylhexylphosphoric acid (D2EHPA). The purpose of the paper is to develop a technological solution for obtaining REE from wet process phosphoric acid using liquid-liquid extraction method with D2EHPA. In the theoretical part of the work, the relevance of the topic of rare earth elements extraction, their properties, application and world reserves is substantiated. A liter- ature review presents domestic and foreign methods of extraction of rare earth met- als from phosphoric acid solutions. In the experimental part, the dependences of the REE re-extraction degree and im- purity metals (titanium and iron) from the organic extract by sulfuric and oxalic, re- spectively, are shown. Based on the data, effective parameters were determined and a scheme for obtaining individual compounds Dy, Y, Yb was compiled.
