Abstract
This Master's thesis deals with the selection of a technology and the implementation of separation processes for CS2 from "Super Lean Gas" in the industrial environment of a viscose fiber production plant. The starting point of the work is the definition of the task, the recording of the technical status quo in the plant, as well as interviews with experts from Lenzing AG. Building on this, a comprehensive literature review was conducted to map the suitable separation processes available on the market. To reduce the options, the catalogue of processes was subjected to a structural evaluation and screening in a further step. For the finally recommended process, concrete implementation possibilities at the various sites of Lenzing AG are discussed in the conclusion. The thesis concludes with detailed instructions for the implementation of the selected technology at various locations to meet upcoming environmental standards and gain competitive advantages.
