Abstract

The diploma thesis is divided into the following points:
1.) Basic description of the environmental situation
In this section general points concerning the environmental protection at the location Hinterberg are stated. These contain among other things a short description of organisational structures, the assigned materials and emissions.
2.) Saving potentials with the water application
After a short description of the actual situation, the average used quantities of water are determined. Possible points of intervention are stated and evaluated after their effects. These views result in a saving potential of approx. 12,000 m³ water per month, which corresponds to less costs of about 350,000 ATS / year.
As appendix cost calculations for demineralized and deionized water are added.
3.) Saving potentials with energy and heat requirement
Introductory general points for energy conservation are stated. Afterwards, due to an apparent acceptance deficit with recovered compressor waste heat, the existing heating system is analyzed and possibilities of all-season applications of this waste heat potential are derived. The technically most favorable version is checked by a cost accounting and results in an amortization period space of approximately 2.5 years.
